Tips to speed up your Operating System (OS)
Here i am sharing some tips which are useful to speed our Operating System by using the utilities (tools) of the Operating System (Windows family). I have been using them they really works.
  • Don't be hurry while the Operating System (OS) is loading (Booting) the files and icons. Wait until it loads all the files and icons i.e. Do nothing while the cursor is likeloading cursor
  • Delete Temporary, recent and prefetch files before shutting down the OS
  1. Start > Run > %temp%
  2. Start > Run > Recent
  3. Start > Run > Prefetch
  • Clean and compress old files in every disk by using Disk Cleanup tool Start > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup
  • Change the settings of applications which you use occasionally such as Google talk, Yahoo messenger, Internet Download Manager (IDM), Bit Torrent, to manual startup by Un-checking the check box "start automatically at system startup" in the settings. These applications will increase the system booting time as they start while system is booting the system files which are mandatory. We can start these application when we want to use them only. It makes the system to work faster as these applications occupy some memory in the RAM.
