- Open Control Panel
- Open the Problem Reports & Solutions applet Under advanced options, disable error reporting
- Disable Error Reporting for Windows XP
- Right click on My Computer and select Properties
- Click the advanced tab
- Click the error reporting button down the bottom
- Select Disable error reporting
