Deleting files from your computer doesn't completely remove them from the hard drive. By sending a file to recycle bin and all windows does is mark the space occupied by those files as empty. To completely remove/secure delete (wipe) files/folders follow the steps: 1. right clicking on the file/folder to be removed and choose "Shred selected file/folder" from the menu.
2. select the erasing method and click start to secure remove the items.

You can uninstall programs by:
1. right clicking their shortcut on the desktop and selecting "Uninstall with Uninstall Plus" from the menu.
2. drag and drop the program's shortcut on the uninstall plus icon.
A wizard will lead you through the uninstallation of the selected program
If the uninstall command can not be detected uninstall plus gives you the option to start the main window and locate the program in the uninstall list.
