While it is a custom for Google to feature a doodle celebrating special occasions, the doodle for Children's day is hitting the headlines for different reasons.
The 2009 Children's day is a special one for India as the popular Google doodle on Nov 14 displayed the artwork of 9-year-old Gurgaon boy Puru Pratap Singh. Singh who studies at Amity School Google's Doodle contest for designing creative logos for special days.
The prize-winning doodle titled 'My India, Full of Life' effectively portrays the country's past and the present with a blast of color which is considered synonymous with the word 'India'.
